Try the Fuzz!
When I need the right tone for the ultra-sustained leads, I go for fuzz.
And ideally I use the fuzz into the crunchy tube amp.
In this case I have used the SMR Toys N-1 FUZZ into my vintage Vermona MV3 boosted with ProCoRAT.
